ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

APRIL 14, 2011

 

6:15 P.M.  Called meeting to order.  Present: Paula B. Keefe, Richard B. Gorden, and Mark J. Mazur.

 

  1. The Board read a notice from the Appellate Tax Board (ATB) notifying us that a recent case has been decided in our favor.

 

  1. The Board noted that three FY2010 ATB appeals were withdrawn.

 

  1. The Board noted that Town Meeting is scheduled for May 2, 2011 and that we are sponsoring two warrant articles.

 

  1. The Board discussed a FY2011 clause 18 application that was filed late.  They decided that since it was filed late that they did not have jurisdiction.

 

  1. The Board took the following actions on the Fiscal Year 2011 abatement applications for the owners of the following parcels:

Personal Property Account       L. G. Glover     Granted

Parcel   43-12               Granted

Parcel   68-20               Denied

7:30 P.M.  The Board met with Mr. S. Cohen to discuss his FY2011 application for abatement.

 

7:55 P.M.  The meeting with Mr. Cohen ended and the Board resumed their meeting.

  1. The Board decided to hold their next board meeting on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 10:00 A.M.
